The USDA Streamlined-Assist refinance
Assist note
Streamlined-Assist is a USDA refinance for homeowners who already have a USDA guaranteed or direct loan. It skips a new appraisal and a full debt-to-income review, but the loan must have been closed for at least twelve months with on-time payments, the new payment must be lower by at least the amount USDA requires, and household income must still be within the program limit. It does not provide cash out.
